A SANGRIA SUMMER






After, quite possibly, the world’s longest winter I’m singing the summer song loud and clear this season. I don’t mean Olaf’s, but I’ll sing his too. I’m singing the lake, the sand, the late nights, the s’mores, the fireworks, the sangria, and the lazy do nothing days that turn into some of the best days of the year. I’m singing it all.

The thing I love most about these days is who I spend them with. Who I’m laughing with, splashing with, eating with, and drinking with. Truth is, right now, I’m hiding away at my favorite lake. We have a million things happening back at home but not a thing in the world when we’re here. It’s sweet, sweet summertime.

Tonight looks like this: slow cooked baby back ribs, oven roasted potatoes and zucchini, grilled peaches, and tying it all together with sangria. I’m quite excited about Yellow Tail’s sangria, friends. It’s sweet, it’s citrus, and my favorite way to serve it is with a splash of club soda, garnished with mint. It’s the perfect summertime drink.
