the scarfament swap has come and gone, my friends. how is it already december 12th? i hope you and your family are enjoying this holiday season, and the days of advent, as we quickly approach christmas day. and i hope while you are doing all of that you are wearing a cute new scarf while smiling at your new ornament on your tree. i know that's what i'm doing.
i sent out all the scarfament partner emails and quickly realized i had not a partner for myself. so, since i make the rules here, i did what anyone would do and sent out a group text to my lake placid girlfriends and said, who wants to be my scarfament partner?
hannah obliged. which, i just googled to make sure i used it correctly, and it means: make (someone) legally or morally bound to an action or course of action. definitely used it correctly.
hannah is easy to shop for. i am pretty much in love with her and almost everything i see makes me think of her in some way. or i think about what she would say about a certain item, and i laugh or cry, depending on the item. it's comical, actually. i really love flannel and i really love cory's shop… so she got this super sweet scarf.
then i spent way too much time on etsy searching for the perfect ornamnet. y'all. there were so many good ones but, i settled on this beauty, from little things studio, which i am so glad i discovered. hope. it is simple and beautiful and what christmas is all about. i'm full of hope. and i know hannah is too.
my goodies arrived and they are just perfect. a beautiful new scarf from alison's shop, little green thread. and a handmade ornament from hananh's sister, linnea. i was admiring how lovely it was and THEN I FLIPPED IT OVER. and i couldn't wipe the smile off my face.
i hope your scarfament experience was fabulous. here's to making new friends on the interweb and a lots'o holiday cheer! did you participate? share your scarfament post in the comments.
love y'all. (i'm emotional today.)
