the little things i love today

after a long night with a house full of sicklings, me being the sickest of all, it's a new day.

it's.a.new.day.

poodle baby in the crunchy leaves.
autumn, and everything about it.

this picture. i mean…

i can now bathe all three children at once.
in a beautiful new tub, subway tiled per my request, by my sweet husband.
cream cheese chocolate chip cookies and children that won't eat them. more for me.
the donations that are pouring in for craft 4 love.
i'm blown away by your time, talents, and hearts to give.
hearts to make a difference.

when i get to shower for more than one minute and four seconds. without a head peeking in, a monitor of a crying baby going off, or a child asking me to wipe his bottom. those showers. mmmhmm.

my little niece isla, falling asleep at random times. story, why can't you do this anymore?

my girl needs a coat, i guess. until then, she shall wear her big brothers hats and i will wrap their fleece jackets around her in the baby bjorn. whatever works, people.
the nightly pillow pile up.

a new mustard door.

snowman pj snuggles on saturday mornings.

girlfriends.
peanut butter toast that smiles at me when no one else will.

besties.

this verse:
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. psalm 91:4

  2. okay so i started thinking about my comment the other day...about how i love YOU more after each blog post. truth is..I actually love JESUS more. Because you always point to Jesus. And it makes my heart so grateful I have him and that He redeemed ME too. So yes, I actually do love you more because you point me to Jesus, so it makes me love both you and Jesus more. Just sayin'.

  6. How sweet. Real life. Isn't the whole all kids can bathe in the tub at the same time like a sweet gift from God?! It ranks up there with when they learn to feed themselves:) I often visit your blog but never comment. I'm trying to change that bad habit. Thanks for sharing a piece of you today.
