my very own pink lemonade collection

i feel as though i have been in a little bit of a blogging blur as a midsummertime haze is sort of taking over. you feel the same right?

don't worry, i am snapping out of it, at least for today, to show off some beautiful things made by my friend paige.

paige is the owner and designer behind pink lemonade and she has the biggest heart. she contacted me after we announced that we were beginning the adoption process and wanted to help as much as she could. she suggested that we create a little collection and that 50% of the proceeds from all in that collection would go straight to our adoption fund.

her stepping out, supporting, helping and loving us has blessed us so much.

this is my necklace i already own from pink lemonade.
i am smitten with it, and wear it every day.

i needed some pictures of me wearing it and i had no photographer on hand. aka my husband was working late. so here's whatcha get.

below is my favorite (that's a lie) and only picture i took of myself modeling my pretty necklace where i didn't hold the camera up to my face and take a self portrait. i set the timer and sat by our shed and cocked my head to side while pretending i was wearing a bra and that i could actually wear this dress in public without someone seeing my butt.

tmi?

all target dresses shrink upon washing and also i can really only wear this one with leggings under it and little cardi over it. strapless bras don't do much for me. can i get an amen?

anyways, this pretty dress is the perfect dress to pretend i actually wore for a what i wore post, when i am really wearing my sister's softball t-shirt from tenth grade and my husband's soccer shorts.

hawt.

and also please enjoy the creepy look on my face that makes me look like the girl from the ring.

don't worry i do not watch movies like that anymore. however, in high school i loved, loved, loved scary movies, even horror movies. do not ask me what was wrong with me. i would absolutely die if i watched one now. i made my husband come to the bathroom with me to pee for three days when we watched the next three days. you think i'm kidding? and just last night we watched source code and i envisioned jake gyllenhaal's limbless body all morning. creeeeepy. those movies are really pushing it for me. i seriously just want to watch leap year and my best friends wedding every day. i like the suspense...but i hate the nightmares.

so ...that was my movie tangent.

back to this pretty collection. it's filled with peach, soft pink, cream and gray and it makes my heart skip a beat. there are two headbands, three necklaces, two clips/pins, and one pair of earrings.

you can shop here. and you can read paige's post here.

thank you, thank you, thank you sweet friend!

  14. Beautiful collection! I used to be able to watch scary/suspenseful movies, but in recent years they tend to stick with me for days and I hate the way that makes me feel!

  18. LOL. The Ring scared the CRAP out of me when it came out! My boyfriend at the time made me watch it in the dark. I think he had some idea that I would want to snuggle because I'd be scared but I ended up just screaming my head off for half the movie. Super romantic.

That dress is so, so cute!
