i know what you're thinking. it's a shocking change.

we painted the walls gray, i made a wreath (you can buy one here), i slapped down some shoe shelves from our closet out there for the many shoes that acquire, and my mama made some of my vintage sheets into curtains. i love them.

do you slap down shoe shelves too?

my mom also made this little curtain for the door into our house.

it's sort of my favorite fabric.

the happiest of thursdays to you!

ps: thank you to all of you who shared your thoughts and prayers on yesterday's post.

  12. Love the gray and yellow - one of my favorite color combinations right now. Funny...our entryway has yellow walls and I hate them. I've been thinking about painting them gray and using yellow accents. I can only take yellow in small doses. :)

  16. Totally understand the shoe thing! We scored a shoe cabinet from IKEA that doesn't look at all like a shoe cabinet... I end up showing everyone so it's no mystery. Love the light airy feeling to the curtains!!

  18. Ooohh! I love that wreath! What a perfect pop of yellow! And the vintage linen curtains? Be still my heart. I have vintage linens that I sewed into curtains in my house, too. I'm a sucker for it. ;) Can't wait to meet you at Blog Sugar!
