here we go

today is day two of making it to the gym before the hubs has to be at work. i'm feeling pretty good about it. i have no crazy goals (clearly, i ate a slice of cheesecake for breakfast), i just need to get working out again on a regular basis. i feel so much better and have so much more energy. i love starting my day before the boys rise or else i feel swamped come 1:00, especially when brody doesn't nap. can i get an amen?

this is me at 5:15 this morning. i can guarantee i will not have this chipper attitude before 40 minutes of cardio every day. yep, that is for sure. and i slept in some leftover makeup, contacts and gym clothes to make things a little easier for me.

  2. Good for you!!! I started working out 6 days a week November 2009. It makes me feel SO much better about myself! Although I work out at home, I LOVE how I feel AFTER I work out! Keep it up!

  7. I need to do this, but I soooooo hate waking up this early in the morning! I need some inspiration to do this! Maybe come up with something together....were we post online about our workout/routine stuff. I need someone to keep me accountable. LOL.

  9. you are hilarious!! i love how you're makin' it happen! i should be at the gym right now. you're cracking me up with the sleeping in gym clothes and eating cheesecake for b-fast. :) it's dairy, right? and maybe has some actual cheese? you NEEDED that protein!

  11. yay for you :) it's hard to get motivated to get up that early.

    i tell myself every evening i'm going to get up before my 13 month old the next morning and i think i manage to do it about once a week. it's SO much better when i do though. luckily, i can utilize the gym childcare to work out.

  14. Do you know how long it's been since I have seen a gym? Let's just say my last spin class was right before I found out I was pregnant with Charlie who will be 2 in a few weeks.
    I see 5 AM, but it is never by choice and it always involves children who torture me by thinking it's time to be up and running.

  15. I wish I had the energy to work out in the mornings before our little miss awakes for the day.
    I always try to set an alarm and then end up putting it on snooze and never getting up lol.
    Most of my workouts happen at night once she goes to sleep, but I just might sleep in my workout clothes and take some inspiration from you to get my butt movin!
